Yesterday was a busy day. Swim in the morning and then a quick trip to Beverly Hills to drop off my month end to the accountant. Then home for a quick lunch (and I sewed two rows of the flag top together!). Grandma arrived and we headed to see the Minion movie which was really good. So fun to see the kids laugh through the movie... and fill up on popcorn and candy (they were with Grandma after all!). When we got home Aidan had been wanting to play Skip-Bo and since no one was hungry (no making dinner for me!) we played a few games and I taught him and Emily some strategy and how to play the game. All in all a good day.

Looking forward to the Minion movie. With Sydney away at camp this week it will have to wait though. Card games and no dinner sounds like a lovely evening. Glad you persevered through those leaves. Some of those pieces are so darn tiny.
We went to the Minion Movie Tuesday evening, too. After a stop at Build a Bear to pick out minions. Except for T#4 who *had* to have the Elsa bear to go with her Anna bear. ;-)
I don't know how you manage to keep the kids engaged for the long summer holiday you have over there. Most parents are verging on madness a couple of weeks into the five week break we have over Christmas here.
