Slow stitching Sunday....

Kathy asks us about long term projects today. I have quite a few long term or slow projects and I tell myself that gives me a choice of what I am in the mood to work on!
Today it will be a toss up of either adding some purple to the trip around the world quilt....

Appliqué maybe?

Or if it is cool enough in my recliner tonight maybe I can start stitching the border on Hugs and Kisses?

I'll see what I feel like adding some stitches to later this evening while I relax before starting the first week of school with the kids.

Emily got her first visit from the tooth fairy on Saturday morning. Her first tooth finally came out at age 6 and 4 months!

Head on over and see what other slow stitching is happening around the world today at Kathy's Quilts  link party.

Oh what a cutie--first tooth fairy visit! such fun!! I have to get out my hexagons again to finish up with some slow stitching. Today's block (Mom's Poms) really did my hand in...but I finished getting an idea of what will work with those colors. I never knew that batik was so hard to stitch through!! Yikes!! When you quilt on appliques, what needle size do you use?? hugs, Julierose

Oh my, going to the first day of school with the first missing tooth. There are a few more weeks before school starts here. The first week of September. All of your projects are looking great. Enjoy your stitching.

I always lost a tooth just before school photo day. Speaking of slow projects, I'm pretty good at those and I like your thinking - something different to work depending on your mood.

Oh my long time since the tooth fairy has visited our house! I only have one grandchild that hasn't had a visit yet! I should pull out my long term TATW after I get this binding done!

Her first visit from the Tooth Fairy! woo hoo! Love your slow projects, every one of them. Hard to decide which one to work on, I'll bet.
