RSC in neutrals....

I was hoping to have a finish to show ... but since I have not finished the binding on the bricks and steppingstones that will have to wait. I am showing the back since it is made up of all neutrals. This was my Sunday sewing to get the backing made and then pinned and quilted.  I just have had a cat not allowing me to get the hand stitching done at night .... as you can see here. If there is a quilt near me... Maxie cat will be on it. Silly girl.

I made a couple of neutral 16 patch blocks to add to the collection. I had found some black and tan squares leftover from my maple leaf quilt a few months ago so sewed them up back then.

Then I laid out the bow tie blocks. Oops - miscounted on the blue so I have cut 3 more and one more yellow to make my 12 bow ties. I need to make some red and green so those will hopefully get done this month as a catch up.
Head on over to see what other things are popping up in the RSC Link Up.

Cats and the things they do to interfere with their people's quilting projects always crack me up! I love the neutral 16 patches with the other colors - so pretty!

Your bow tie blocks look good: what size are they?
You have a nice collection of 16-patch blocks too.I really like the quilt in your header; it's a very effective design.

Is Maxie cat going to enter the Cats on Quilts event this year? She looks like a natural.

You always have so much going on :) The neutrals won't really work for my baskets or Airship blocks but I am still checking in to the party here and there this month

Congrats! on being ahead of the game on those LIGHT NEUTRAL 16-Patch blocks and best of luck catching up with the red and green Bow Tie blocks. (And here's hoping that the cat will get off the quilt long enough for you to put in a few more stitches this weekend!!)

Maxie does look rather comfortable there which is a good sign for a quilt. You RSC blocks look terrific all laid out like that and your BITA is tempting me!
