I think the baptist fans and clam shell quilting will create some real interest and texture! Look forward to seeing the finished project!Valerie the Pumpkin Patch Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09350509427673390188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763380526259722932.post-90781335857032962082012-07-03T16:21:18.063-04:002012-07-03T16:21:18.063-04:00I agree that it depends on how dense the quilting ...I agree that it depends on how dense the quilting is. It does need to be consistent throughout the quilt. I don't have a lot of experience with hand-quilting - I've only done a couple projects and I had a lot of trouble deciding which pattern to use.Ellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14826354433338717185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4763380526259722932.post-19746496542553763922012-07-03T14:52:14.937-04:002012-07-03T14:52:14.937-04:00No, I don't think it is too much. But that wou...No, I don't think it is too much. But that would depend on how close you are quilting the arcs. Perhaps you could space the arcs to equal how you will quilt the clamshells and echoing on your applique quilt. I think density of quilting needs to be balanced over the whole of the quilt. Just MHO. Your blocks are wonderful! Can't wait to see what you decide to do.Cynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00555820168461902203noreply@blogger.com
