RSC in pink

I tried the birds in the air blocks again this week and made sure to have a completed block nearby while sewing these together.

These turned out correct....

as opposed to the ones I did for last week!

I also did a 16 patch block as a leader and ender while working on my Table Scrap Challenge for the month.

Here is a sneak peak - notice the pink cozy sweater in the middle!

Linking up with the RSC on Saturday.

Love your pink Birds in the air blocks--so subtle and pretty--a whole quilt of them would be smashing!!
Hard to believe that January is coming to a close...we still have snow on the ground--unusual for us here but it's been so cold --even the sides of our marsh inlets are frozen...hugs, Julierose

Those birds in the air blocks are pretty in pink! I've found it does help to have a previously made block sitting close by to help with remembering the right way to make one. :) Love that 16 patch, too - great idea for a leader/ender! I was making the Bonnie Hunter l/e from last year, but they got to be too finicky for me. Going back to simple four patches! Cute little sweaters, too!

Your pink bird blocks look great sewn either way! Now you can keep going & make two different quilts: one correct & one oops!

Pretty pink blocks and fun sweaters.

It's always handy to have a block close by to check which way those pieces go.

Birds in the Air is a block I have never done. The pinks are so pretty. I absolutely have to have a previous block, or a picture to look at. Otherwise I can mess up a block in a heartbeat.

Your Birds in the Air blocks look pretty either way. It's amazing sometimes how easy it is to get pieces turned the wrong way, even on blocks we've made before.
