December 31

I did not bring my computer with me this trip, so the recap will happen next year!

Busy visiting with family this week. The kids and I went skating yesterday.  Their second time on skates. I never learned to skate but went around the edge once and turned in the skates. That was enough for me. Emily wants to go again, and learn more with my brother,  so she'll go tomorrow too.

Got to shovel the ice off the driveway before the temps dropped late Monday night to the teens. There is a dusting of snow from overnight I'll go shovel in a bit. That will be my workout with a kid or two!

Puzzle making was Monday during the rainy day with frozen roads.

Happy New Years!

  4. Hope you're enjoying the snow and ice before heading home to warmer temps, lol! I thought there might be some ice skating involved, too. Puzzles are a perfect cold weather activity as well - and a nice way to spend time with Grandma. I bet your folks are loving having you there!

  5. I tried ice skating many years ago but could never maintain my balance - I'm the same way on skies - nothing but fall down

  6. The last time I tried skating, I needed to skate arm in arm with someone but I did enjoy it. That was about 10 years ago. Love to see the puzzle out there. We watched a marching band video last night and I thought of you and kids. So much good stuff in your lives!
