I have had trainings online at work this week and finally remembered to put my BA stuff near my desk. I was able to glue baste these stacks during one training this morning.
My tip so I remember - I started on the right side of the house top and went counterclockwise all around. That worked best for me.
I am hoping to have a good stack of at least the big house and the short ones to start stitching sets of 3 on the Winter Guard trip on Saturday. I said I'd chaperone and feel much better this week so should be able to go. Another long day - 8AM to 10PM is the schedule and the competition is a good 2 hours away. Stitching time on the bus is a possibility.

Oh good that you got those all prepped. that sounds like a super long day...:(((( hopefully you could rest on the bus ride also???

do you get people asking what you are doing when you work on EPP and roll their eyes and say "I wouldn't be able to do that"? I would get such strange looks at family gatherings asking me what I was doing if I was hand stitching and say they couldn't do it - wouldn't want to do it and didn't really get it - after awhile it would make me uncomfortable -
ReplyDeleteHi, I am in north central Florida too. I never thought I would say I want it to warm up here but I do now!! Working on scap quilt pattern from My sewing room just using up leftover 2 inch squares. Almost done 4 more blocks to go.
ReplyDeleteGlad you've got those Brimfield Awakening blocks going again! I don't recall exactly, but remember they make a really pretty design. Stitching on the bus could be a good way to pass the time!
