I was so surprised when I started tugging bright and light greens from the bin and closet at how many I had! I prepped some hexagons last week and have been sewing them together in little bits of time this week. Two to go! Don't you love the striped one? I only had to take one side off and restitch it to get the pattern. It makes me wish I had more stripes to put into this!
I also made one of the RSC Sampler blocks this week. Tinkerbell wanted to be in the middle! I hope to stitch the latest one posted together today if I can get a little sewing room time in.
Head on over to SoScrappy on Saturday morning to see the other bright green creations for the week.

Hope you get some time in the sewing room today! I'm becoming more and more a fan of fussy cutting hexagons ... love your striped flower! And how sweet that Tinkerbell gets to star in this week's Sampler block!
Awesome fun with green! I do love that striped flower!
Your greens are great. Tinkerbell knows how to be noticed :) Perfect spot for her! Oh, and those little monkeys in your hexies a terribly fun.
Your blocks look great and I also really like the stripe. I don't often buy stripes because I am never sure how to use them but you sure figured it out!
Tinkerbell is perfect in the middle of the star block. Your light and bright greens are SO happy. Love them.
Tinkerbell makes this block! I might have to put a fun fabric in the center of one of mine! Great idea!
Love the striped hexie and the dotted ones too. Tinkerbelle is enjoying the "star" attention. Great blocks.
Very pretty hexies. Tinkerbelle is perfect in the block.
Wonderful happy green hexies! And my nieces would be begging for Tink!
jardín de la abuela, uno de mis preferidos, ya que lo puedes realizar en cualquier lugar que uno se encuentra...

Wonderful works and wonderful green colors.
I just watched a you tube video on fussy cutting EPP stars. The quilt was absolutely gorgeous. I was thinking that could be pretty addictive. I think I would probably spend more time at the fabric store looking for directional fabric.
Love your bright greens. I enjoy your hexie flowers in each month's color.
Lovely bright hexagons. Fussy cutting gives such a pretty result it's a pity it usually wastes a lot of fabric.
Beautiful tiny green hexes, makes me think of Spring flowers.
these ARE bright and beautiful...made me think of St Pat's Day! :)
Personally I like the hexagon with the sock monkey hehe
It doesn't look like your are basting your hexagons around the edges so it would be interesting to know how you are sewing them together.
