Slow stitching Sunday.... last one of 2014!
I plan to put a few stitches into my little TATW block today in between some Disc Golf and visiting up at my other brothers house. After this afternoon we have hit all four of my siblings houses for visits with the kids. Grammy and Grandpa are counting down the minutes until they get peace and quiet back again in their house I am sure..... although the kids have been behaving really well this time. I think we might throw in some sliding on a real hill this afternoon too... there is just enough snow left to get a good slide before the rain and warm temps melt it all away. The temps are going back to 'normal' they day we leave with highs in the 16 range =). I guess I am taking the warm home with me. The kids got their snowmobile ride yesterday with Uncle David. They loved it.
I'm linking up with the other turtle stitchers on this last Slow Sunday of 2014. Head on over and see what projects everyone is working on.

The kids look like they're having a blast. I grew up in South Dakota, and we went snowmobiling every weekend during the winter. I don't think they get as much snow now as they did waaaaay back then. I admire anyone who hand pieces, so I'll be following your progress on you TATW.
The blues look great in your TATW block. Looks like your kids had a whole lot of fun playing in the snow.
Deb, I am so glad your kids are getting such fun memories.. I saw a TATW that was a hexi shape somehow and about queen sized and was beautiful! I am excited to see how big yours grows and enjoy the beauty of it along the way :) Kathi
Looks like they had a wonderful time! making some progress on your handwork. :)

You are making good progress with your block despite all of the activities taking place. It is nice that the kids are getting a taste of winter and getting to enjoy some snow. Our snow has melted away...the temps have been crazy!
Nice progress on your block / we've YET to get snow aside from a few showers here and there. It's been weird : )
A wonderful vacation! You must be exhausted from all that excitement! Enjoy your slow stitching while you rest!
Turtle stitchers ... that's hilarious! ;-) I love the blues you chosen for your TATW ... you're making good progress even with being so busy.
Sew nice to have a bit of stitching time in between all the visiting!
