The weekend.

The last two days in Vermont, and I am enjoying some slow stitching and relaxing. We had a great 4th of July with family. Lots of food and chatting with 16 of us there and a Gracie dog.

The loons and their baby were hanging out a bunch of the afternoon in front of the camp.

I did get a smore in after everyone left for the day.

I did get my lobster in today. I called ahead and picked it up after I dropped off the garbage and recycling. Yes, their next run to the dump will be a smelly lobster one!

I got a maple iced coffee this morning, and a maple ice cream this afternoon. We also stopped in at the newly opened Lake Elmore Store. It closed the end of December and got remodeled and just reopened on July 4th. Lots of local things and they opened up the store to have a cafe, with some cozy seating inside and out with a beautiful view of the lake.

I think I'll pop out to my favorite spot and add some more stitches into another flowering snowball block.

your family gathering looks like ours does when we all get together but sometimes to get everyone in your have to take 2 or 3 photos!! but gathering around outside and have a fire going and eating is what we do - and talking of course
