Jan 2

I did start a new project for 2026.
I started the November design out of the Paula Vaughan  Quilts for all seasons.

I started around the middle so the red left border of the quilt on the wagon.

Another puzzle was started.

We spent time at my sister's yesterday. She lives in the woods and with the fresh snow overnight it was a winter wonderland. We also got to see three deer right outside the window while playing Rumacube.

My BIL Bob took Emily to the rink where my brother and SIL were meeting her fir free skate time. Turns out Bob grew up playing hockey and he had not skated in years. He had fun... and now wants skates!
Bob and Em.

It is -1 outside feels like -10. We will see if we head to camp or not for a drive by.

The overlook on her property.

  1. Lovely photos of the overlook area, Deb. We are pretty cold here today too--only 25 at noon --so, no melting going on at all..We got about 3" more of snow the night before last...We've had more snow this year already than in the last five years. Sounds like you are enjoying your visit...hugs, Julierose

  2. Oh my goodness, the snow in the woods is so pretty! You all look like you're having fun - such a different environment from what you're used to. Does Ocala have an ice skating facility! Em looks like she's got a new hobby brewing there!
