After some working today for me (Dad will be home with the kids for his Fathers Day!) we'll have a nice dinner on the grill and then some family time. After they are in bed I'll settle in to finish the green block and start on either the purple or red one. That is all that is left to the middle before I start on the borders! So excited!!!!!
I was working on this blue one Friday - I figured that counts for the RSC Challenge!

Aidan was working on a super secret project on Thursday with the sewing machine. He pulled from my scrap pile and made this monster for his Dad. The face is on the top side - two black eyes, pink nose and yellow mouth. The red tie and then the purple and red legs. All his own idea.

Love the monster! He did a great job. Love the quilt you're working on...
Your orange peels are getting so close! Any idea what the next hand quilting project will be?
Hugs & Kisses is looking great - it seems both cats approve of it, too! Aidan's monster is adorable - what is it with boys and monsters? One of mine loved to draw them on everything!
Sophie is saying... "this is my quilt and I'm so glad it's finished. What? It's not finished? Close enough and perfect for kitty snuggles!" It's amazing!
Your Hugs and Kisses is really coming along! What a great snuggly quilt with all those hand stitches in it. Your son is quite creative!
Love the monster. Hugs and Kisses is looking great. I love moving on to the borders. So pretty.
Your quilt is looking wonderful. Bet Dad was delighted with his monster!
What a terrific monster! Sounds like Dad had a terrific Father's Day (happens in September here). I plan to give those chocolate cake muffins a go soon. Hugs and Kisses is looking good.
Love the monster! And Sophie is posing so nicely on your pretty quilt...both are beauties :)
You're making incredible progress on your Hugs and Kisses. And that monster that Aidan put together - so creative! My oldest grandson is a chocolaholic ... I think those muffins would be a huge hit, maybe with a chocolate glaze?
