Oh so close! This was me in the potential rainy day pick up (one line of cars instead of 2) on Friday. One hour in the car line working on my Midget Appliqué quilt.
The hand stitching of the rows is coming along swimmingly. I have 6 of 7 rows together.
Will today be the day to add the last two sashing rows and that last row of blocks? I think so.... as the girl would like a family movie time before her brother is returned from Grandma this afternoon.
Head on over and see what other slow stitching is happening today.

Wow! That went quickly! I'm not sure I would've gotten so many rows together even if I was machine stitching. Looking great!!
Yay! Almost done!
Your sewing machine is going to get jealous of that hand stitching needle! LOL Love this project and when you hand quilt it, it will only get more spectacular! I can hardly wait.
Love how that quilt is coming together. that palm (??or weeping willow??0 tree is my favorite...I love those kinds of blocks--all curvy ...hugs, Julierose
Great progress. An hour in car loop!? Yikes. Glad you had some stitching to keep you happy and busy. Looking like a quilt is just around the corner.
Wow - you really have to be in the car pickup line for an hour?!! That's a little over the top. Now I know why you always have your hand stitching with you. Your quilt is looking great! ~Jeanne
This is the cutest quilt I have seen in a long time. Enjoy your slow stitching and special movie time.
I don't think I could stitch in the car. You have made great progress. That quilt is very pretty.
That is the perfect way to spend otherwise wasted time!
Enjoy!
This has been so much fun to watch ...You are getting so close! :)
It is always good to have something to do with you so that you can use those bits of "spare" time well!
Yikes - I don't think I would like to be sitting in the car line for an hour. Good thing you plan ahead and have hand work with you!
Looking good, but not sure I could sew in the car! I'm loving your blue blocks for RSC in the last post.
Yep, that's looking pretty good. I do love the blue against the yellow. Having an hour to spend stitching is a bonus.
