I have been avoiding pin basting my hand pieced trip around the world quilt cause it is so darn big... 90x90. I have been thinking of getting a frame or making one...... and I caved. I just ordered this Grace EZ3 frame and am also getting the cloths for pinning to and the side clip attachments. The quilt is so happy now that it has a start date in sight!
I really, really hope this works out well for me. Should I warn the rest of the house this is coming? Nope, I didn't think so either =)

Ooh! Let me know how it works out. A lady who comes into the shop really wants to sell me hers now that she can't hand quilt anymore. I'm not sure where I could make it fit in my house...but oh, I'd love one! Enjoy!
It looks like a decent bit of kit and fingers crossed it works the way you want it to.
Here's hoping that new frame works well for you!! Seems like it may save you a TON of time!
I love mine, so I hope it works for you! I have too many little people to use mine right now, but it'll come out again in a few years.
How exciting!! :)
Congratulations on your new purchase. I am sure it will get plenty of use! I'm thinking that not only will it be used for hand quilting but also basting your quilts for machine quilting as well.
I am tempted to purchase one, but do not think I can justify since I have the long arm....but if I get back to hand quilting, I would purchase one of these too.
So exciting... a happy valentines day gift for yourself!
OK DEB!!! You are a BAD influence on me! My Grace will come next week. Now I will have to do some double time to get a couple of quilts ready for hand quilting for 2018 quilt shows to enter! I am so glad you did a post on yours because it really helped me make up my mind - that I did not need a hoop - I needed a frame! Keep us posted on when you receive yours and it is up and loaded. I am happy for you!!!
