There might be a movie time.... so I can work on the binding for this little log cabin quilt that I was able to machine quilt this week. I attached the binding before I knew I was hitting Joann's last night...so it is the dark tan that I had in my stash. This truly is a stash quilt! It is 36x48 so a small child quilt.
Some hand quilting will also happen - maybe catch up on a few shows on Amazon or Netflix? I was able to turn the quilt Friday night so I just have the last 3 squares of this row to stitch in purple, teal and orange before I get to start on the new and final colors!
I also have some work on an EMD block that I have been back basting to prep the last few days. One more block from Month 4 to prep for hand piecing today... then I'll download the next set of Month 5 with lots of applique of peels!
What will you be stitching on today? Head on over to Kathy's Quilts and see what others all over the world will be slow stitching on.

I love all of your projects. How wonderful that you made that pretty little quilt from your stash. I like your hand quilting project too.
I love seeing your frame have a quilt on it and in progress
Lovely little log cabin..and your little squares quilt is lovely-- those purple shades are gorgeous...hugs, Julierose
Such a fun day... hand quilting and binding and so much fun to be had!
Great projects. I still need to get this month's EMD prepped. Have a great day stitching!
Enjoy your day. I am so far behind on doing comments. Friday was a trip to BAMC for Clay to get a cast on his hand, then yesterday about 6 hours in ER trying to get them to smooth some rough edges off the stupid cast. I guess I am still a quilter..... So forgive if I do not have time to comment all the time, but your projects are coming along great. Hugs
So nice to be close to finishing a quilt - I love binding! The tan binding looks good. Hope everyone enjoys their long weekend!
Gosh all those tiny colourful squares are a treat for the eyes. Enjoy your day of quilting and binding. The tan binding is a perfect choice.
Your quilts are so pretty!! I love the fact that the small one is a scrap quilt, but doesn't look like one - you must be so organized with you scraps (mine are in one big jumble in a big box!). I love your quilting frame and I hope you were able to get a lot done. I worked on some crochet and some cross stitch.
Don't you just love a free day?! I love the teals in your log cabin! Those purples ... yummy!!! Have fun!! :)
