RSC Saturday in light and bright BLUE...

Well, it took me forever to find the completed star blocks that I knew I had somewhere in the sewing room. Turns out I had 8 of them instead of 6! I created some nine patch blocks to go with them and managed to get these 2 blocks made before I logged into a family Zoom meeting tonight. Seems I needed help from the kids to get the microphone working... but then it was nice to see all my siblings and almost all of my nieces and nephews. A big thanks to Kristin (my niece) for setting it up.  My parents managed to figure it out too! I have a feeling we will be meeting again soon.

Linking up with the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.

We’ve been relying on Zoom too. I think I’ve had three Zoom meetings in the last week. I love your star blocks. I’ve said that before and will probably say it a few more times before the year is over, but they are really cute!

The excavation project was well worth the outcome, Deb! Here's hoping some more Light/Bright BLUE scrap sewing is on today's agenda.

Lovely light blue RSC project in progress. We had a "Whatsap" meeting with both children and their families last week--it is so nice to be re-assured by seeing them that they are ok...my daughter clued us in to that for our phones...

It is SO so quiet on our street--mostly everyone is staying in and at home (except for the one group that is walking all right next to each other --Yikes!! There are always a few who feel they are exempt from rules, aren't there?? Maddening!!)

Those are pretty light blues in your blocks! I may be one of the last people to try a Zoom anything, but my book club wants to use it, so I'm going to have to figure it out!

We did a zoom party this week too! Our grandson-in-law had a birthday. They have recently moved to Florida, a granddaughter in Vermont and us in Wyoming! It was a bit of a learning curve, but we got it figured out! Fun too. I baked him a cake, we sang Happy Birthday and when he made a wish, hubby blew out the candles as I recorded! Now of course, we have a whole cake to eat by ourselves! That might be a problem for my hips!! Oh well, it was festive!
