RSC Cobblestones

I had a very productive day off on Thursday and managed to sew my yellow cobblestone row together. Now the decision as to how to lay out the row colors for a quilt top! Thoughts? There will be a small grey strip in between each of the rows.

I like A with the random mix of warm and cool, lighter and darker.

LOVE IT!!! it looks great. i really like the rainbow order; somthing about those grey centers really set it off. but: my suggestion is to move the pink row over with the red row. can't wait to see it done!

I’m with Julie - I think the random order is the way to go. But having said that, they are BOTH awesome, so you really can’t go wrong!

I like the first layout A

Of the three I like C--but perhaps darks in the center surrounded by lighter strips--maybe?? You have put together awesome blocks on this one..I really like it hugs, Julierose

What a great quilt this will make. I like the Color 'A' arrangement best, nicely balanced.

I always love rainbow order, but your light to dark gradient is a nice change of pace.

Great RSC quilt. I love the balance of color, ie: warm and cool; and the light and dark in C personally but truly all of them look great.

This one just needed its yellow column, didn't it?! Layout is always the hardest decision for me, but I think I like your A choice the best. Whatever you choose, I think it will be great!

Ah the fun of figuring the layout is always a time when we second guess ourselves. Sorry if instead of helping you, I bring another option. How about Plan D: dark in the middle with lighter colours on the edges? Or vise versa. Just saying. It will look great in any layout. Enjoy the dithering. ;^)

I tend to lean toward rainbow order, but the light to dark is interesting! It will be a great quilt!

Love the blocks, simple yet really special. I like option A best for your layout, but anything you choose will work. It's going to be a great quilt.

Vote for numer 1 layout! dark/light combo! You could always put them on point and have a huge quilt! LOL. Looking good on this one! Your header quilt really turned out pretty! Great work
