I actually have been waiting for brown as I have this nice container full of brown goodies to sew with this month.
First up is pinwheel blocks. I seem to have gotten carried away and cut out enough for 5 blocks this week.
I am also planning a blue/brown homespun irish chain quilt that I will be working on this month using these fabrics.
Head on over to Angels'a blog at SoScrappy and see what other brown goodness is being worked on this weekend.

What a great collection of brown fabrics. Love the pinwheel blocks. The brown and blue together look so delicious.
Thank you for the inspiration Deb :) I was unsure about putting brown in my Rainbow Scrappy, however, having seen your blocks, which are so gorgeous, I feel inspired! Great idea about a blue/brown project too. I like how these two colours work together.
YUM! Love the brown pinwheels and can't wait to see your homespun irish chain!
Beautiful pinwheel blocks! The blue/brown Irish chain is going to be gorgeous.
Great blocks, love the pinwheel design!
I like your term 'brown goodies', your pinwheels are so cute and I love the brown and blue homespun, can't wait to see that finished result.
Your pinwheels remind me of chocolates - can't go wrong with that! Can't wait to see the blue & brown Irish Chain.
Those pinwheels look terrific! Joanne
I love your pinwheels. I have few homespun browns I hope to use this month too.
Super pinwheels. The browns are so lucious. Can't wait to see what you do with the blue/brown combo.
