Slow stitching Sunday....

Are you sick of this project yet? I have my two sections together and added a row of colored flowers this week. I know - there are two greens together but they are staying.

I just prepped a bunch of hexagons Saturday afternoon and drew my lines so I have plenty of hand work today making pretty flowers. I see another row of color on the top and some white flowers on the top and bottom. I'll call the hexagon flower part of this project done at that point. I think a small multi color inner border and then white for a hand stitched cable in a pretty variegated thread...... Then again... who knows what the quilt will decide once I get to that point. They do tend to have a mind of their own.

Head on over to Kathy's Quilts and see what other slow stitching is being worked on today.

Deb, How could I be tired of a project with such fun colors to look at... love how you are designing with those fun pops of color too! Great work! Enjoy your slow stitching... I have to unstitch before I mark and restitch today... we will see how that goes! lol I may just hand piece a hexi star flower and be done with it all! ha :) Kathi

There is no way, no how that I'll be sick of your hexie project ... I love hexies! And your hexie project is just plain adorable!

Definitely not sick of your project! I have not jumped on the hexagon bandwagon myself, but I sure admire everyone else's. Visiting from Slow Sunday Stitching.

No! Who would get tired of looking at beautiful flowers? It is coming along nicely and I think it will agree with your plan. Happy sewing

No, not sick. I sit in the garden and enjoy the same flowers every day...same with your hexies every week! How cheery.

So pretty! It's amazing how the ideas just come as you're working on the project so that when you get to the next step, you know what you're doing!
Thanks for linking up!
