It's a good thing I checked those four patches before I laid them out - I had to fix those two that I noticed were wrong last week. Since I hate sewing long seams..... I decided to do it as I went. I sewed two rows at a time and then sewed the rows together. It made it much more manageable and when I had four rows together....it was over half done and easy to continue! I'll have to remember that.... I usually just do the rows and then it sits for a while since I hate sewing long rows together.
I just need to finish piecing the middle border and cut the inner and outer borders out. A job for tomorrow I think. Yes Mom... the floors got swept and mopped and the living room got cleaned. Progress =)
It was clear out the crisper for dinner - I made a veggie spaghetti sauce and threw in the proscuttio leftover from the meatloaf earlier this week. It came out pretty good and used up the pepper, mushrooms, onions and scallions hanging around with some of my canned tomato's. No recipe - I just tossed things in and that was dinner. I made a loaf of french bread to go with it...... Must stop eating it! It is way too good. Good think I halved the recipe so I only have one loaf (well, half a loaf left!).

YAY! It is looking fantastic! Way to go!
Beautiful! I feel the same way about long seams. Especially I borders. Looks great though,so it was well worth the trouble.
You are making real progess! I got a lot done today, it rained and I figured I might as well take advantage and work in the sewing room all day.
Great job on the Solstice... you'll be ready for the next one!!
It's looking fabulous! I feel the same about long seams. I'll have to remember to break them up next time.
Looking Awesome!!!! I had to correct a lot of mistakes after I though my CS was DONE!
Your CS is looking fabulous! I, too, hate sewing long seams ... which is what I'll be doing today as I'm going to sew on binding. But I'll grind through it as it means another quilt is done! Your dinner sounds pretty yummy to me!
I love seeing your CS as almost a flimsy... those borders will go quick and you will be ready for the next one! haha :) Kathi
Oh you must be so excited! Just borders to go--what a super looking CR! Beautiful work...
I am debating here on next round for my Monet's City piece--NOTHING seems to go with it--that's what comes of not having a plan! But then, maybe serendipity will visit me overnight...fingers crossed hugs, Julierose
It looks great. I chain my tops together, so they are a big web and then just a few long seams.
