I took a little time to take stock and look through the drawers I have in the sewing room that I store projects in. It was quite a list of projects in process or at a top stage. 22 was the count and I have a sneaky feeling I would find more if I looked. Other than the sentimental stitches appliqué project I don't think I will be starting anything new (other than the RSC row along of course!). Darn it, left off the 16 patches from last year to make into the Goodnight Irene quilt. See - I didn't go through all the other storage bins... just the drawers!
I pulled out these 6 blue blocks that measure 8 inches. I think I will make some more - one of the top row ones to have 4 the 'same' and new ones.... to make a little wall hanging. Who knows... it might get more blocks and be made into a little throw. That will be on tap this week - to find and make some fun blocks with the piles of blue scraps tumbling out of the scrap bins all over my floor.
I'm linking up with Angela over at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge today... and Oh Scrap tomorrow. I'll be visiting the other links this evening. Hopefully I will have lots more to show next week and that scrap bin will stop multiplying at night while I sleep.

You have some nice blue blocks (and others as well) on the go, I find taking a tally really helps to clear the mind and help organize the stash a bit.
Your husband must be waaayyyyy older than you! :)
So many great quilts on your list. I am sure there will be room for more when those are crossed off and done. Happy Birthday to DH -- halfway to 100
Yikes, if I had that many unfinished projects I'd have a conniption fit. Luckily that list looks like all the projects I want to make. Your BITA is a lovely quilt, so please go ahead and make another. As always I love seeing all your projects coming together.
I reckon I could just about match you on your list of unfinished projects. Doesn't help that several are RSC blocks waiting to be sewn up. LOL
Love your header photo. It is stunning.
I am not sure I want to know how many projects I have started. I really like your birds in the air quilt. What size are your blocks? Good luck with finishing your projects this year.
Ayup - 7 years =)
So many pretty things a-building! I'm looking forward to watching you play with them.
(And I'm not going to count my UFOs. Nope nope nope. Not gonna do it.)
Kudos for beginning to take inventory of your projects and Happy 50th Birthday to you DH!!! Tell him not to feel old... 50 is just a number.
Your birds in the air head photo is really beautiful. I will be looking forward to see what you will do with those pretty blue blocks.
Have fun with those blue blocks. Scraps do seem to multiply when our backs are turned! I'm very tempted by the Birds in the Air block but so far I've been able to resist. Don't know how much longer I'll be able to hold out if you make another quilt with them!
I love the name of your blog! I too am very happy to be scrappy and with so many people giving me their sewing room leftover and such, I keep myself busy in scrappy quilts.
Though I have been working on UFO's steadily, I still have several to finish. LOVE your blocks.
Happy Birthday Hubby. You must have been a child bride.
