Tonight, everything should be packed and ready for vacation so I plan to do a little hand quilting on my firework's quilt. No progress has been made on that one since I last showed it. Poor thing is feeling neglected.

The prep work is so important to using hand stitching time well...great that you will be able to enjoy some on your vacation! And give a little lovin to the Fireworks quilt...July 4th is coming :)

I intended to get some hand work ready to take with us to Florida. Maybe for our trip in September? If only I could be as well organized and plan as well ahead as you do. ;-)
I am heading to Texas for the fourth, I should ready something to do in the car. Thanks for reminding me.
Have a great vacation. I hope to get a couple bindings sewn on this week so I have some hand work to take when we go camping.
