RSC in dark and sage greens

I finally have some green sewing done for the RSC this month!

2 - 16 patch blocks

14 cobblestones in a row, guarded by Ollie.
I was able to cut the parts out before dinner on Friday.... because it was order pizza night and I didn't have to do anything! Love when that happens. After dinner - I got in a nice long walk (over 9,000 steps each day since Tuesday!), multiple games of horse and cat with Aidan and then I got to sew! It was a wonderful Friday evening. Aidan even came in and when he asked if he could help.... he pressed things for me!

Linking up Saturday with the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.

Oh I have to really begin to walk in earnest myself--Our Association's roads are being dug up with the digging in of new water piping...
so, not a great place to walk if you tend to be a bit unsteady on your feet. So the treadmill will start to get a workout today...if my back cooperates...yikes I sound like I'm olde--(oops, well I am, I guess).

I finally got my sewing machine cleaned out yesterday and my room swept and dusted up...this was after sewing 3 long vertical stabilizing rows on SIL's quilt--now to tie it...no more machine quilting big pieces for me...

It is warm-ish here at 60 degrees this morning--hoping for Mr. Sun to come out soon...

I love how you used your dark greens (not my favorite color)--they look really great...

Congrats on consistent moving. I have been moving a lot in the garden these days (about 2 hours per day). Games of Horse and Cat are fun times. Ollie is an awesome assistant and inspector. Have a great week. Good job on the greens.

Nice job on these RSC blocks, Deb!! SEW nice that you had a helper, too. Yay, Aidan!

Sounds like you got all the good things in one evening! Pizza, a long walk, time to sew, and a helpful kid, too! Your dark greens went together really nicely.

Good for you to get a good amount of steps in! It’s a goal of mine this summer. We may not socialize much, but we can get outside and walk! I’m watching your cobblestone blocks. That will be a fun quilt, I think!

Loads of lovely dark green blocks! Great job and way to use that waiting-for-the-pizza's-arrival time to cut pieces to be ready for more sewing. That's the way to get it done!

Your greens are looking great. Pizza night is my favorite. It is Sunday for us, and I look forward to it all week.
