I also cut a few baby blues and made this snails tail block for the month. Since it is easier to have two going at once, I also cut another purple one and added that to the pile. I think I need two more and I'll call these blocks done. Should I go with brown and cream for the last two or add another yellow and orange one to the mix?
Head on over to SoScrappy and see what other blue projects are being worked on this weekend.

Your blocks are beautiful. I would add some brown and black snail blocks.
Your blocks look great! I am just now going to head into my sewing room to work on some string blocks.
I vote for browns or blacks to help the other colours pop. I haven't made a baby boy quilt in so long I can't remember the last one, so I don't have much in pastel blue around either.
I vote for don't stop. This will be an awesome quilt.
Brown & cream or black & white - yes! Are you really ready to stop?! What size are these blocks?
it's interesting isn't it I originally thought another orange block at least but I think some brown or black will make the others pop!
Love the snails trails blocks. I think brown and cream would even things up nicely. What a great color collection you have going on. Sweet little blue blocks. Crumb blocks are such a nice way to get rid of the last little bits.
I'm the weird one who thinks you need some brighter (yellow and orange as you suggested) blocks to add to your Snail's Trails.
I love making crumb blocks. It seems so satisfying to use up bits and pieces some people might throw away and end up with something useful.
