Tiny Tuesday....

I got a little time in the sewing room this morning while the kids were playing school in the living room. The first block is called Pretty Long March.
The second block is called Single Thrashing. This one went together much easier than the first one. Note to self - finish the second cup of coffee in the morning before doing math!

Two more pages have little check marks as done in the top left corner. I don't have to go back to work until Friday.... and hopefully I will have a kid free day Saturday if Grandma is up to taking the kids for the day. I really, really want to get a quilt machine quilted and there is no way I can do that while kids are in the house with me. Until then, I'll plug away on some more of these blocks, five churn dashes in yellow and some yellow crumb blocks. I prepped some hexes to work on during swim lessons today. Only 30 minutes waiting on them so I should be able to draw my sewing lines on the 35 hexagons I have prepped for five more colorful flowers.

  1. Love both of those little blocks, but I did have to chuckle about your note to self. ;-) Hope you get a kid-free day on Saturday.

  2. Cute little blocks! Love the photo in the header, looks like a great place to relax or read a book.

  3. Look at you go! Way to check off another couple lil' blocks!

Love the coffee comment! I typically have a couple of cups every morning before my first period class; so I, too, have at least a second cup of coffee in the morning before doing math! LOL
