I have 13 blocks completed and I'm half way through block 14! Only 36 to go =)
After a little prep work today of some black hexagons to work around my hexie flowers I will be putting some slow stitches into my Hugs and Kisses Quilt. It will be well deserved after cleaning the house to make it MIL acceptable while she stays with the kids this week.
Head on over to Kathy's Quilts and see what other slow stitching is taking place today.
DH turned 49 today! One more year before he is an old man! =)
My niece is also celebrating the wonderful 22 today as well in Boston. So proud of the young lady she has become.

You are making great progress on your hand quilting - you are more than 1/3 done!
Thanks for linking up!
Deb, so many fun and different projects you have going on and making progress on all of them.. that is great! Loving the progress on your hugs and kisses.. keep up the great work and I hope all goes well with your MIL visit.. and hope your hubby has a happy 49.. I will be 49 this year as well tell him :) Kathi
Your doing great despite those kitties. I keep forgetting to post my progress on TAWTW although I have been more focused on hand quilting lately.
You are moving along nicely...you'd probably be way slower without those kitties helping, ha ha
Hee-hee. At least you know that your quilt has been fully tested and inspected for warmth and comfort. Lots of good projects on the go - if that's slow stitching then I need to speed up to catch up! Happy Stitching.
The TATW quilt is beautiful. I enjoy watching it grow. I love that your kitties are in love with your quilt.....or maybe it is you they love to be near. Enjoy your stitching.
Yes, our fur babies can be very demanding. I've learned to do handwork with a dog napping in my lap.
That TATW is going to be spectacular! I can't wait to see it. Happy birthday to your hubby and your niece!
Yes the cat factor can definitely contribute to the "slow" part of slow stitching. Lovely work, all around, Deb!
Cats do love a quilt - I'm sure they think we just sew for their benefit! I love the colours in your blue TATW - they are working really well.
