Her first quilt with her sewing machine. The front is 6 inch squares.
The back - purple with princesses.
Maybe my Tiny Tuesday block will get made today for a Wednesday post? Time will tell but first I need to get outside and get some yard work done. It seems to keep getting pushed back until 'tomorrow'. Raking and moving the rest of the oak leaves off a flower bed and then some pushing of the lawn mower while the kids play croquet. I mentioned it yesterday before Grammy and Grandpa took Aidan shopping for his birthday present.... he picked that game along with a few other things. We played quite a few games last night and he is going out to practice now while I get some yard work done.

Wonderful finish! Congratulations to Emily! I bet she and you are very proud of this quilt as you should be. Deb, your patience and time spent with her will pay off - I bet she will LOVE sewing. ~Jeanne
Congratulationd to Emily on her first finish, and to Mom for shepherding her through the process! Croquet - fun stuff! We play it with the extra little challenge of playing on a slope (not by choice, but the whole yard is on a gentle slope!)
Wow Emily's did really great! She should be very proud! I spent most of the day out today sucking up leaves, thankfully our rider is working. We have a huge lawn and right now it is rather wet. So glad I got that done before rain tomorrow. Looking forward to that midget block!!!!!!
Congratulations to Emily - she should be so proud of that first finish! Woo hoo! I can see it now, the two of you sewing away together.
It's going to be gorgeous here, so it'll be a great day for getting out into the yard. I think we're going to mow today - for the first time this year.
Congratulations to Miss Emily! I hope this is the beginning of a great quilt-making tradition for her!
Emily did a fabulous job!!! I love the quilt as your header too! You are both doing spectacular things!!! So happy she likes her little Janome too! Kathi
Lovely work Emily. Doesn't it feel nice to make something for yourself? I hope you have a life long love of making, sewing, knitting, crocheting, creating. . . .
