After having a little girl crawl onto me in bed this morning at 6:09 AM.... (Figures- a Weekend morning she is up and raring to go at the crack of dawn and all last week there was lots of yelling to get her out the door to school around 7:20!) We had a couple of shows to keep her quiet and her brother who came out around 6:30. Now they are in the playroom playing school so I get to watch a show and put some slow stitching in. Hmmmm I think I'll work on my Trip Around the World in Yellow putting this pretty yellow with blue flowers onto the block. Sorry for the low light - the sun is not up yet!
Later tonight - I'll quilt another block (that purple one!) on the Hugs and Kisses quilt and finish off one corner. That will leave 21 blocks left to quilt in the center. Progress =)
Head on over and see what other projects are slowing being worked on today at Kathy's Quilts - Slow Stitching Sunday link party. I'll be stitching away until the rest of the house wakes up!

Love your quilts and you are making progress! Isn't it amazing how kids who like to sleep in a bit get up so early when they don't have to? Hope you have an amazing day. ~Jeanne
Love those yellows - that one with the bees is adorable! Why is it that kiddos wake up sooo early on weekends and holidays yet would sleep the morning away if allowed to on school days? Sounds like you're going to have a nice slow-stitching day today.
Sounds like a wonderful start to your day! Have fun stitching today!
Oh beautiful project work! i love that TATW (as you know ;--))) and those hugs and kisses will be gorgeous...have a fun and restful Sunday..hug your little ones--they grow up very fast....Julierose
Imagine stitching before the sun even comes up! LOL Enjoy your stitching :)
I'd never thought of stitching when someone hauls me out of bed at 6.00! I love your TAWT colours.
Pretty quilts. I totally understand the early morning wake up times. My daughter thought 5am was a perfect time to get up when she was a toddler. We had to teach her to read a digital clock so she would know when she could wake us up and when she had to go back to bed. I sympathize with you. Your quilts are so pretty. Early morning is a great time to work on some hand stitching.
Yellow is just the right colour now it's almost Easter. I have to make something yellow myself soon.
I always love blue and yellow together! Your hand quilting is looking great on our hugs and kisses. I am hoping for some sun tomorrow and maybe I can stitch on the patio. We have had enough cold an wet!
Yay for progress! I don't think I can function well enough to stitch at that time of day myself.:)
Oooh!! The yellow is so pretty! Your hugs and kisses blocks are wonderful! :)
I'm afraid I'm like your kidlets. I can sleep in any work day and wake up with the sparrows on a weekend.
