Monday....

It was a very slow Sunday. I rented the movie Oceans 8 and sat in my recliner and stitched all afternoon. I would have finished the last bit last night while watching the Red Sox win.. but my finger needed a break. Just one last seam to stitch to attach the top 8 rows to the bottom 8 rows.

The kids are off school today and due to some talking back they did not get the trip I had planned. So, I am working this morning like normal and they decided 72 degrees was cool enough to go out back and work in the woods on their trails! We will see how long they are out there...... so far over an hour!

72 degrees sounds pretty great to me. I checked the weather report for back home and a cold front came with rain and only 50 today! I would have had to have the heat on and a sweatshirt - instead I'm in Arizona and it will be in the 70's so nice!

At 11:20 it is 86 and feels like 95 so they have been inside for the last hour. Making stir fry rice for their lunch..... let's hope they clean up after themselves.

Looking good! All hand work? That takes time!

It's chilly here we had to turn on the furnace. I was hoping to get some painting done on the patio but it's not happening. More rain. Guess it's time to get my quilt in the hoop and pretend winter has started.
