Tuesday - Pink Umbrella

I stitched up this little one last night. He decided to hang out with a beautiful hosta in Mom's rock garden this morning. I'm enjoying the 60 degree morning and wearing jeans today! The kids and I enjoyed a walk last night with long pants and sweaters for a couple of miles. It was heavenly after Florida feels like in the 100's for the last few months! There are so many beautiful flowers in bloom - I really miss seeing bee balm, cone flowers, daisy, indian sunflowers, hosta and all the pretty annuals. The birch trees with their bright white trunks against the shades of greens. I am so lucky to be able to come up here and see them (and family of course) in the summers.

Linking up with the RSC in pink.

:) nice to wear jeans for a change - for some reason that always makes me feel so happy in the first days of October when I can do that - or better yet when we are traveling in September and October and I wear jeans almost all the time - I love that kind of weather so much more than the hot sweltering days of summer

Oh yes--I know about missing those flowers and some others that when in Fl we can't see or enjoy--and when I move back I will miss them again very much--but--my family is in Fl and I have missed them this past 11 months being back in the north--sooooo--I guess for me--family is more important than flowers---glad you are having a good time up north--cute umbrella--if you are outside here right now--you need one--it's raining!!!
luv, di

Lovely umbrella, pretty fabric. We could do with umbrellas here this evening, although parasols have been more useful the last week.

It had been WAY TOO HOT around here also but the weather finally broke. Still wearing shorts or capris but the stickiness of humidity has eased up. Your umbrella block is really cute. Love how it gets along so well with the hostas! Lol!
