Happy Halloween!

I got the last two Civil War blocks done.... so I made 31 blocks this month!
Runaway Slave and Guardian Angel. I think I only need a handful more and I will have enough for a nice size quilt.

These are the pumpkins the kids carved on Wednesday. Aidan's is on the left and Emily's is on the right. Rapunzel is all dressed up in her costume at school today but Aidan is going as himself rather than his power ranger outfit. He said he'd get too hot in it at school.... and his teacher saw him in it last night at the safe halloween event at school. She even touched his muscles and said he must have really been working out after school to get them that big!

Yay for you, reaching your goal for CW blocks this month! You're much more focused than I am :)

Have fun with the kiddos for Halloween. My two have reached the age where they aren't trick-or-treating anymore, and the poumpkin carving takes a backseat to all the other activities in their lives. I'll even miss seeing other neighbourhood goblins come up my steps tonight, as my son is in marching band and the HS marching band spectacular is this evening. Who scheduled that?
