RSC Orange

I managed to get a little orange sewing in this week. I finished off 13 more of these blocks with grey centers. I really need a name for these!  **Update - Thanks Sharon for letting me know this is a cobblestone block! *** Their row is all sewn together and waiting for the next color. I might add a strip in between them all in November....we will see.

I added a star and nine block as well. I think I have another close to being done..... I have the nine patches and just need to sew the stars. I'd like to make another couple of these but we will see. 2 will make me happy as I am not sure if they will all go in one quilt or become multiple quilts at this point. Lots of decisions later this year for me!

Linking up with the RSC on Saturday. I'll be busy at cookie booths all weekend as I had to take over from my Cookie Mom and we need to get these cookies sold and help the girls reach their goals..... not to mention have money in our account to do fun things next year!

Neat orange blocks and they look nice with the green ones!!
I like how you are sewing 2 -9patches and 2-star blocks into one larger block--and I just realized that I am stitching 4 of each block--but have no idea how I will arrange mine or even it they will go in the same quilt top--I will have to keep myself in 'suspense' for a few more months--till I decide!!!
here's hoping that there is is NO cookies left in boxes to sell by Sunday evening--have fun!!
luv, di

You are most welcome Deb! Are you going to be able to Jenny Doan while she's in Ocala? She's a very entertaining speaker with a wonderful trunk show of quilts. She came to FCQG in 2013...were you still here back then? Jenny is Deb D. (the guild treasurer's SIL) so we had a connection to get Jenny for a trunk show while she was visiting her husband's sister and family.

Sharon - no I moved to Florida in 2011 so I missed her. I'll have to check the dates and see if I can swing it between work and the kids. Greg's schedule is changed weekly so if he is working that day I have to pick up both kids from school.... which is my whole afternoon pretty much! 1:30-4:30ish.

Those cobblestone blocks are neat ones, Deb! I like the way you're sewing them in columns. Love how the stars and 9 patches are growing, too!
