Superbowl Sunday....

I've deemed the house picked up enough for the day! Time to relax. I have one kid home with me.  She just finished her 'stables' and will be playing with it this afternoon. I hear we need to make a soft flooring for the horses this afternoon as well.

Hubby just headed off to work and the boy is out shopping and for lunch with Grandma for his birthday. He will be 12 on Thursday! How did that happen?

I'm not sure which of these I will work on but it might be a little of all of them. That is the advantage of having multiple projects - depending on what mood you are in you can pick any of them up for a bit.

Yesterday I was trying to keep warm at horses working on Emily's blanket. It was in the 50's.... I didn't check the weather and was happy to have a sweater in the car I could go and grab for under my coat.

I attempted Aidan's multiple colors for the sheep finally this past week. It is not a favorite thing to do but I do like how the pattern of the sheep is coming out. I need to do 3 sets of them..... lets hope the first set gets done this week.... or maybe tonight?

Then there is hand quilting. I rolled the frame on Friday and have yet to add a stitch. I do see hand quilting in my future today. The end is in sight!

My spot was taken over this morning by Ms. Sophie. She is 15 and spoiled rotten. I noticed she is not eating her special dry kidney food very fast.... so went to the vet and picked up some wet food for that diet. She is eating that better. She is getting a little ornery in her old age and swiping at the other 2 cats lately. Guess she is just letting them know she was here first and own's the house!

Linking up with the other slow stitchers over at Kathy's Quilts. Stay warm.

I guess when you are 15 and a cat you will be a little ornery. The jumper you are knitting is a lovely colour and the sheep will be cute. I look forward to seeing the quilting progress on your beautiful quilt.

Mahomes is ready! Well, he was and the Chiefs won. Yay! Not that I understand American football or that Kansas City isn't in Kansas; and I should really support the 49ers because that's where the US branch of our family live. But . . . Mahomes!

You have some beautiful projects going on! Love your little seat warmer...though I guess if she doesn't share, it's not much use! :)
