RSC ..... collections of blocks....

I have managed to finish off 2 quilts this year from my RSC sewing. Both should have arrived at their new homes in Vermont.

This one now lives with my sister Joanne.

This one should arrive today at my Mom's.

That leaves these collections of blocks that should be sewn together at some point. A couple are from previous years.

16 patches. These will probably be added to next year unless I need a quick quilt for something.

Birds in the air - this is half of them from the drawer. I have enough 6 inch blocks to make a 80x80 quilt.

crumb blocks.... some are 10 inches and some are 12 inches.

churn dash. I remember making one quilt out of these blocks already years ago.

The rest of the blocks that didn't go into the top quilt. I see I need to make a yellow one.

Em was laying them out.... seems she thinks I need to make more!

Sweet Confetti blocks.

Stashbuster blocks. The kids have since moved things around to a more 'pleasing' layout according to them!
Linking up with the RSC Challenge.

Now this weekends job is to attempt to find some order in this mess of my sewing area! If you don't hear from me by Monday.... send in someone to find me! The kids have already been threatened if they even mention they are 'bored' next week I will dump out 3 large rubbermaid buckets of scraps for them to sort into colors.  I do believe they said they would keep themselves entertained! We will see.... They are off school next week for Thanksgiving break.

You have lots of pretty blocks to play with! Wish I could pick a favorite, but I never can - I like them all. The stashbuster blocks look like they are ready to sew together without any more blocks needed. Have fun cleaning in your sewing room! (That might lead to starting something new, though!:)

SEW much promise in those block sets, Deb!! The open shelves in your sewing room look like they might benefit from some sort of bin system. Maybe plastic boxes turned on their sides to keep the stacks contained? If the kids get bored, perhaps they should fold fabric instead of sorting scrap bags. Just a thought! :P

Those first two I really love a lot and I'm not sure which I love the most and then you finish off with another colorful quilt - I love them all.

What lovely quilts you have finished, and even mailed out! And you still have stacks of colorful blocks to work with. Good luck with the sewing room clean up, we all know how hard it is to keep things picked up when there are quilts to be made and new blocks to be tried!

Fun finishes!!
Love seeing your sewing room as it actually looks. Mine looks just as bad, so have fun cleaning and organizing. ;-)

Add in some Diamond Painting stuff and your room looks like mine. Hahaha...

I am not going to let myself Start anything until I straighten out and cut up scraps into usable pieces for next year (and for my sanity). Although, usually after a big clean up--I cannot seem to work in my room--too clean? I guess...
Anyway--your quilts in progress are lovely...
Hugs, Julierose

I hate how messy creativity can be but look at your beautiful quilts! Very nice!

I love your two finishes and I'm sure the recipients are thrilled. I love all your other block groups, too! If you combined some of them, they would make some really pretty quilts, too!

Congratulations on finishing two quilts. They are wonderful. I especially like the first one. It might end on my RSC 2021 list. Who knows! My sewing room looks like that too but I am too ashamed to take a picture and put it on the web. I commend your courage. Bravo and good luck with the cleaning up. ;^)

You do such pretty hand work and I like your header picture. Have a great Thanksgiving with hubby and kids! Bet they will not say "I am bored" they know Mom has some work for them. LOL
