Hand work? Check.

Ok, so I did the fifth one on the night of the 4th.

This was the practice flowering snowball block I made Saturday. It went together so nicely!

I decided to pull a few FQs I purchased over 10 years ago to make a little quilt.... or however many blocks I can with them. I have more of these 4 colors to make the second block and then will cut more from some different fabrics. I pieced the 3 parts during horses on Sunday. I attached two together in car line and finished it off tonight.

I had planned to work in the sewing room, but I had to clear out and defrost the fridge and freezer tonight. We will see if that stops the noise and get the ice maker working again. Greg investigated the top ice maker in the door and we think it is replaceable. That one has not worked in years and we gave up on it. Lets hope when we plug it back in that the constant noise will stop.
*** This morning the noise is not happening. Greg did pull out the ice maker and looks like $90 for that part so hopefully that will get the ice working again.

we have had trouble with our ice maker and it is always an ice jam in the tray it seems - I hope yours is fixable - Mike has always been able to fix it so far - although I know I did one time LOL

Must be the day for icemaker woes. Mine is on the fritz again and unfortunately we know to repair it would cost a whole bunch of money per the repairman. So, we unload the fridge and let it thaw out and do it all over again. What fun, NOT. No sewing for me these days. Take care.

That's a terrific block. Great fabrics too. Those wee hexies are so sweet.

Your new hexies are great! Fresh and springy. I love that Flowering Snowball block, too. It looks like those will be fun to stitch up!
