Results from a relaxing day.

I took a fairly lazy day yesterday. I did finally mop the kitchen floor.... it really needed it! Bathrooms today I think.

A lot of time cutting and prepping the rest of the pink hexagons needed for January. These are so quick to stitch at night - maybe 10 minutes - once all that prep work is done.

Then I settled in and watched some tv (ok, listened to tv) while adding some hand quilting to this little quilt. Just a little more time needed on it today and then I can find something for the binding and get it finished off.

I tend to listen more than watch also! but it seems to help the process of hand work to have something to listen to. I must do my floors and bathroom too I tend to put it off
all the pinks are looking good

You are all set for some tv listening ;))) I do that too--lately it's been my x-stitch butterflies...[I think I also have some of that green fabric you used with the geese--it's a pretty green] . I managed to quilt 6 geese this morning...and I cut more gray 1.5" strips for my log cabin...

I love the texture that hand quilting adds to a quilt that looks wonderful, Deb! It's fun and happy! You've got plenty of hexagons to stitch on, too. I have to have hand work to do when watching TV anymore, so I listen more than watch at times, too.

Looking good Deb! I haven't done any real hand work for many months now. :(

The hand quilting looks great. Having the prep done does seem to be the key to getting work done. Looks like you are set for a while.
