Progress on Hand Quilting..... and Mom's Birthday!

So, I have tried to make progress on hand quilting this week despite a spoiled cat thinking he needed attention.

Mom, this is a good spot. Pay attention to me.

Fine, if you don't pet me, I'll just lay here and take a nap! This was allowed, until one of the boys sneezed and he jumped off.

This is a half completed block #16. I have 2 more after this and then all the sashing and setting triangles. Straight lines on the sashing should be easy. I have not decided on the triangles yet.

Wanting to wish this special lady a very Happy Birthday! I hope you have a great day and I can't wait to travel up to Vermont and see you and Dad this summer.  See you tonight on Zoom.

won't it be nice to be able to visit family again - this will be a period of time we never forget. Your quilt is coming along so nicely

Your hand quilting looks great! Lots of fun to be had in those triangles. A lovely feather wreath? Or a fleur de lis?

Happy Birthday to your mom! Thank goodness for Zoom this last year giving us a way to see our faraway families when we couldn't travel to them. Your kitty is just hilarious! Hope you got a few stitches in anyway.
