RSC Saturday in purple.

Not much sewing this week but... I did make some nine patches last Saturday to go with the stars. I believe I have 4 more stars left so I need to make 4 more nine patches.

The 2018 RSC Sampler quilt Squared Away is machine quilted and the binding is attached to almost 2 full sides as of last night. I'm shooting for another side today - this one finished at 70x80 so 300 inches of binding to stitch.

Linking up with the RSC. Looks like I need to finish up Purple for next Saturday! Where did the month go? Kids start virtual school on Monday. We will see how it goes.

Definitely doesn't seem like it could be the last week of August already! Your stars and nines are always one of my favorite blocks to see - love them in purple. Enjoy your binding stitching, too! It's been interesting to follow along with the start of school all around the country - so many different ways are being tried. I'm betting your kids will do great!

I concur! Your stars and nine are awesome! Definitely on my to do list! School starting will be interesting! I’m secretly glad I don’t have to make that decision! One good thing about being an old lady!

Love those purple stars! Reminds me of stars peeping out just after sunset, when the sky is purply-blue!

I predict that there will be several copycats in the coming years of your delightful stars and nines blocks. They are just so cheery and fun!!!

Seems impossible that school will be starting already!! (Ahhh for the days of "after Labor Day") anyway--I hope all goes well for your two on the virtual side.
Your purple star blocks are really neat...
Stay safe and good luck on the virtual year....
Hugs, Julierose

Oh, I like those Stars and Nines and I think you gave me an idea as to how to use some Wonky little stars that don't seem to ever be enough.
