Stitching Hexagon rows...

I was a little under the weather Saturday so sat in my chair and did some hand stitching. I was all excited as it was going together so well.

Look how nice it lined up to stitch!

Then a little niggle in the brain had me open it up to check and oops.... somehow I was a little off when I started stitching it. Sigh, that middle teal blue needed to be on the other side of the orange.

So out came this little seam ripper. All that stitching is out. I decided to stop for the day and I'll attempt to try it again today.

Since I will be doing a pretty lazy day again today I might try to work on the knitted sheep pillow for Aidan as well. I believe this is where I left it. I have watched a few videos on how to do this properly now so it should make progress.  Lets hope both projects go smoothly today.

Linking up with the Slow Sunday Stitchers.

sometimes we need to just sit and sew or work with yarn and watch a movie or something - I'm thinking I might need an afternoon like that soon

Oh darn on all the unstitching! It does look like your hexies are going together nicely, though. I like your consistent backing fabric. I might have to start another one of those. Hope you're feeling better today!

Thank the Good Lord for seam rippers! How lovely to sit and stitch hexies together. Your hexie pretty is looking lovely. Hoping you are feeling more like your old self today.
