A Dreary Sunday....

It looks like it wants to rain outside....it never did yesterday but I'm sure we will not be so lucky today. I did make a pink heart on Saturday... then was working on a deep clean of the kitchen and living room and bedroom yesterday. Remind me to get a smaller house next time! Dining room.... well, would be today but I need to make up hours at work so it will be a working day today.

A Purple heart for Sunday and some more hand quilting onto the maroon dresden will happen at some point today. I hear Grandma wants to try the new Mexican restaurant tonight so we will head over and meet there and get the kids so she doesn't have to drive them to us in the rain.

Linking up with the Sunday slow Stitchers

Here is the linkup if you are making hearts with me this month!

Oooooo! Pretty hearts! Your applique talents are amazing - mine would never have such pretty curves. Nice Dresden plate! I hope your dinner is lovely! Would you mind sending some rain my way? :)

Your Dresden is looking great. I hear you about the smaller house when it comes to cleaning. It seems like we waste too much time cleaning when we could be doing something fun. Nice heart additions.

It has rained here in Dry Denver for three days now. Even flooding and hail. It is dreary. Imagine not being a quilt maker, and not having colors to turn to! Everyone would be happier if they had a fabric stash!

At least your hearts are bright! It's a dreary day here too. Hope you get in some stitching after working today. ~Jeanne

I love that Dresden plate and the colors of those hearts. Today was our first day of sun in a week. What a welcome sight.

Pretty hearts and nice progress on your Dresden :) We've had our share of rain and it's time to mow the grass again here. Not complaining though, since all my flower seeds are in around the house and needed that rain :)

Sunshine and blue skies here today. I will be doing some stitching in the car later today. Nice hearts and progress on your Dresden quilt.
