RSC in purple...

I did not get much purple sewn this week.

I did play with a new tutorial from TheJoyfulQuilter for Mini Magic Stars. There is some purple in there!

I pulled some old friendship stars in purple.... just need to make some nine patches to make these into stars and nines later today.

I also found this variable sunburst star from Canuckquilter that I had made last year. I hope to add a few more in purples this month.

Head on over to see how others did with purple this week at the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I'll be by later to check in but must go weed the front beds a bit before the temps get crazy.

Your mini star blocks are fun in solids! How nice to find all those stars ready to go for your stars and nines, too! I bet it will be quick to sew up the nine patches to go with them. Those stars are really pretty - it will be fun to see what you do with them!

Lovely purples intermingled on those Magic Stars--really pretty--the instructions for that block had me bamboozled for some reason--just couldn't "see" it. Oh well could it be Covid brain fog???
Hope your weekend goes well stay safe
Hugs, julierose

So many pretty purple blocks! I think the Friendship Stars are my favorites (at least for today), and they will look even better with the addition of 9-patches.

The mini stars are cute and the Starburst blocks are impressive. I love how you have enough value variation in each block so that the pattern really pops. Ooh Joy's tutorial is such a temptation. I love your choice of solids!!!

The Mini Stars are very unique in the way the secondary pattern really shows up! Like all the blocks!
