The challenge is back this year with a twist. We have a theme to go with the RSC monthly color. January was red and the theme was Snowman. I had various ideas of what to do with scraps to make snowmen. But then I saw a cute wall hanging on Melisa's blog and I had to make my own version!
The beginning from scraps on the cutting mat.
The eyes got added with minimal quilting. I pulled a black striped fabric to make a binding and a leftover scrap (probably from the 1990's?) for the backing.
Ta Da! I think he is pretty cute for a simple snowman.

Oh, he is cute! He's perfect for red and snowmen. Doesn't Melisa share fun projects? I haven't cross-stitched in years, but when I see her little designs, I want to get back into it.
Cute! And the red background looks great. ~Jeanne
