I did a lot of watching tv and resting yesterday while getting some hand stitching in on these Hexagons. This section of 12 groups of 4 is all together. Now I know how they should go together and I only had a couple of oops to unpick around the end of the first 2 section joins yesterday. It is a learning process!
Here is a shot of the back - already quilted and bound so once all the sections are together it is done! This measures 34x22 for this section. There will be 8 sections so it should end up around 68x88 I believe.
Linking up with the January Finish OMG. I have completed 2 more sets after this one - so 3 sets so far for the month.

that is going to be larger than I thought it would be - pretty!
This will be a lovely reversible quilt!! I like how it's coming together--I've un-done a lot of hexies because I sewed them the wrong way 'round;000
I always had to lay the project out to make sure I was moving around in the right order...
I have been working on making some more hexagons a few at a time...in the "Kismet" line of fabrics...using my "Go! Baby" to die cut them and the freezer papers...
At least I can do that...hugs, Julierose
Hooray for a day off! Your hexie section looks wonderful, and I love how the few that have a different backing kind of pop out on the back. That will be a great size!
LOVE it, Deb - front AND back!!
Great progress and yeah for an unexpected day off. More sewing time.
I agree with Julierose. Your quilt will work on both sides. Looks great.
Very festive! I have yet to try hexies. Could be an easy portable project. I tend to knit when on the road if I don't have a quilt at the hand binding stage.
Your hexies are neat. I've never seen them go together pre-quilted.
Ooh - I love the colors in your QAYG hexies! The random ones with dark backing is a nice accent.
