Sunday

I will be working on my midget applique quilt today. I have the vines stitched down on two borders and these 2 flowers were added to this one. I need to prep some more flowers and some leaves to add to this.

The cat liked that extra vine hanging off the edge.... and thought it was a toy! Silly cat.

It appears we have cooler temps today in Florida with a high around 80 degrees! So much better than what we have been having. If Greg's back can handle it - we will take a trip to Lowes to get lumber and spend time outside working on the second coop.  The new set of chickens will not be the same size as the others for a bit so we can't intermingle them yet.... and this way we will have a place to separate them out if needed. These temps will be so much nicer to work in than the feels like 100+!

Your quilt is looking good! Your cat is very cute too. They just can't resist sitting on anything you place on the floor can they?

Kitty Cat wanted to help! LOL. We had 64 this morning and it was so pleasant walking! We are in the same weather pattern I guess - next Saturday they are saying 91, but still cooler than 110! We hope to get some rain from the storm in the Gulf..... could be iffy! Hugs

I really like the narrow pink border and then the wider yellow with applique will be so pretty! Have fun stitching today, and hope the new chicken coop goes together smoothly! Glad you're getting a little cooler there.

Your appliqué border is obviously cat approved! Hope the cat lets you get some stitching done today!

with all these new chickens and the old chickens--
one day you will be knee deep in --eggs--!!!
I miss having a kitty to help me and to keep me company--
but there is no place for a litter box in this apartment!!
so I guess I will just have to keep talking to my teddy bears, dollies, and the fairies!!!!!!!
have a great week--
luv, di

Lovely quilt. I would love having chickens, but not allowed in our neighborhood.

Lovely midget blocks quilt--I like the yellow borders...I see your "applique inspector" was at serious work ;)))

It was 42 here this morning and didn't get out of the 50's today...
I like this mid-cool weather...

I will be moving my CS blocks around on the wall to see how they play..
The other 4 rows don't fit on the wall--so they will be added after i sew the rows ...two on either end of each row...
Should be a mystery quilt...
hugs, Julierose
