The kids spent the night at Grandma's after a late night at the car races. Tomorrow, I start getting them up at 'school time' so they are not too surprised on Wednesday when they have to go to school! Monday Aidan has Freshman orientation at 2 and then the rest of the school and parents arrive at 4 for the 4-5:30 orientation. We got a robo call informing us that Tuesday they have to pick up a crome book for school between 9-3. I guess they don't think parents work? Thank goodness I have a flexible schedule and so does Greg with his schooling. I think Greg will do the 2PM drop off (well 1:45 drop off) and I'll go at 4. Tuesday... we will see who brings him to sign out the computer. I think my morning meetings got moved to the early afternoon so it might be me.
Wednesday should be a mad house dropping off and picking up so I'll make sure to have my 'busy bag' with me in the car. It will have a skein of yarn and crochet hook for the below project of the granny squares. I am not sure if the grey and/or cream will be in the afghan. We will see. I have lots more of the medium country blue than the light and dark. We will see what happens. I have been looking at different ways to join them and might go with this one - Join as you go by the crochet swirl.

School starts and life gets busier, doesn't it? It looks like you have lots of good car line stitching options. I bet you will enjoy the EPP - seems like it's right up your alley. Hope your kids have a great school year!
well you have plenty of projects thought out in advance to keep in the car with you that is good. I'm surprised they give such little warning that you have to pick up a computer for the boy and with parents needing to sign too for it one would think they would know that parents don't always have a flexible schedule
I hope the school year goes well for the kids
Back to School already???--time sure flies--especially it seems in Summertime!!
You will have a lovely group of projects to keep you busy during waiting times--
I am thinking of doing another hexagon quilt like we both did with the turned sides--we shall see if I can figure out what I'd like to do this time around...
I have it on my living room round glass table by our big window. That was a really fun project and used up lots of batting cut-offs...
which I seem to have ...

It is amazing how much you can get done waiting in the school pick up line. Gorgeous knitting . Have a lovey day.
My grandkids start on Wednesday also, and my oldest grandson is heading back to college in NM on Monday. Looks like you have plenty of great projects to work on! Happy stitching!
So many fabulous projects! I clicked to see the joining technique for your squares and it looks really interesting!
School doesn't start for another month up here in Ontario Canada. Getting back to routines is a challenge for everyone. Nice projects you have going.
Ah yes, back to school! Sometimes school planners can indeed make activities very difficult! Thank God you have a flexible schedule!
Your afghan is coming along beautifully. Those colors remind me of the sea.
I do so enjoy EPP! It has been falling by the wayside, but I have a Grandmother’s Flower Garden almost finished. It seems that you’ll be using those binding clips to attach your fabrics? Great idea!
Your Harmony block is so beautiful. Have you been hand piecing long? That looks like a challenging block, but yours is well done! Congratulations!
Melisa’s Mystery Stamp Stich Along looks fun!
Take good care!
