A long time UFO

Scrappy Irish Chain.

I searched and searched for these blocks on Sunday. Looks like I need 15 alternate blocks and 2 - 25 patch blocks before I can start assembling this one. This was a leader and ender with 2 inch squares quite a few years ago.

I was going to sew the hearts together this month with purple as the RSC, but that one thinks it wants hand quilting where this one said it would be fine with machine quilting. Are your Quilts as outspoken as mine are?

I love that quilt design - so much pretty color! How is the alternate block made? Hopefully, it won't take much work to finish up all the blocks. I always have a hard time deciding how to quilt my projects, so I wish they would be a little more outspoken, lol!

Oh yes they are--every time I go past the UFO closet I hear them grumbling among themselves and sometime they even yell at me!! some (Shh I didn't let them know yet) will be bundled up and go to be finished at a charity sewer's place as i cannot handle large ones anymore...but my smaller pieces are going to be happy as i do finish them!! I sent my Arboretum blocks to a friend who is making a big quilt and running out of fabrics--the making of them is way too fiddly for me...hugs, julierose
P.S. we got 1/2" of RAIN today--most we've had in months...;)))

LOVE this one, Deb!! Most of my quilts would rather be done than hand quilted. LOL! The one that's stubbornly waiting for that has been waiting for the last 23 YEARS!!!

I love this! I think I made one of these a long time ago but I didn't quite have it right and the design was chopped off a row or so on one end - I've learned a lot since then

Fabulous blocks, Deb. Oh yes. I love when my quilt projects talk to me though I do not always listen. Have a wonderful time working on this UFO. It will be a lot of fun to see this one come together.

My quilts are outspoken but once in a while, one is quiet - that is hard! I love this quilt of yours.~Jeanne
