Last night was another awards at school - this time for Aidan and the 7th graders. He was recognized for a 4.0+ gpa for the whole year last night. Sorry about the bad photo - he would not consent to one after..... he was ready to head home after 1.5 hours in a room full of people! Since I had stopped on the way home with the girl for a treat - he had the option as well. She chose McD - sunday and he chose Baskin robbins sunday. He has county wide essay today in his last critical thinking class. Let's just say it was sprung on the teacher last week and he already told the kids he would be very generous with grading it! Still, the boy is stressed. Hopefully after today - he will have a stress free last day of school tomorrow.

Congratulations to Emily and Aidan for their stellar year despite all the obstacles from covid and restrictions...You must be so proud...;)
I will be looking forward to seeing how you slice and dice for this quilt--I've never done that process...hugs, Julierose
Congratulations, Aidan!!! Nice work on the grad quilt, Deb. D9P quilts are lots of fun!
Great Job Aidan! Now that today's stuff is over, I hope he enjoys the last day. of school tomorrow. Your disappearing 9 patch is going to be striking! ~Jeanne
I can totally understand how Aidan was feeling - a room full of people is stressful after awhile! Ice cream sounds like a good plan, too. I love the black, white, and red color combo for the grad quilt! Sounds like you are on the way with it.
